So here we are the 12 th of November and we are gearing up for the holidays. I actually have my first Gift to give on Monday night so I am blindly searching ideas for a gift to make. The problem is I have a bazillion ideas running through my head and am trying to narrow it down. The person inside who is always concerned about what people think or will they like it is on full alert. I must kick these thoughts out and let the artist have supreme authority. I really need to have my idea book beside me at all time as I get ideas all of the time. Fellow artists understand completely. I suppose that older moms get this too. I end up with ideas, ideas, ideas and never go back to them. Sometimes I forget or I just forget the idea book. Hummmm new accessory idea ( a book on a rope to hang about the neck, bedazzled of course ) Our little book club, Friends through the pages is a complete joy in my life and everything I wanted and desired for it. That is where I shall give my first holiday gift of the 2011 season. I am so very excited. The children have decided on the Christmas theme for decorating. A red and white Scandinavian look. Of course I LOVE this as red is by far my favorite color. Seth says when asked his favorite color that it is " all the colors of the rainbow " ahhhh I have created another artist.
I formulated a plan this morning on revamping the space within our house. I think this mamma is on her way to her own crafting space. Yahoo. I feel at 46 years old and the mommy of 5 I finally deserve it. The hubby has the garage so no worries there. Fair is fair. Pictures to follow.
